On 10th March 2025, a successful Cyber Awareness Session was held at City International School, Kothrud, Pune, aimed at educating 100 students from the 10th standard on critical aspects of cybersecurity. The session was part of an ongoing initiative to promote awareness and understanding of the challenges and risks associated with the digital world.

The session covered a variety of important topics related to cyber safety, including the dangers of hacking, photo morphing, online privacy, and the risks associated with cybercrime. The students were highly engaged, demonstrating a keen interest in understanding the consequences of these issues. They actively participated by raising questions on various cyber threats and inquiring about real-world examples of hacking and the impact of online fraud.

Key discussion points included:

• Hacking and Cybercrime: Students learned about the different types of hacking techniques, online scams, and the importance of keeping personal data secure.
• Photo Morphing and Image Manipulation: The risks associated with digital image manipulation were discussed, along with methods to identify such altered images.
• Cyber Laws and Responsibility: A key segment of the session focused on the legal aspects of cybersecurity, explaining what constitutes a cybercrime and the responsibilities of individuals in the digital space.

The session was conducted by Aahan Foundation, an organization dedicated to spreading cyber awareness and providing support for digital literacy programs. The positive feedback from the students indicates that the session was both informative and impactful.

During a discussion with the Principal, Madam , we also explored the possibility of conducting additional sessions in the upcoming academic year, as the students expressed a keen interest in learning more about cyber safety and related topics. We look forward to continuing this partnership and expanding the reach of these critical awareness programs to other schools and communities.
