On March 18th, 2025, the Lions Club of Pune Supreme organized a collaborative and inspiring session with Aseem Foundation, an organization committed to bridging economic, social, and ideological gaps—especially focused on connecting with the people from disturbed border regions like Kashmir.

The day began with a warm and engaging breakfast with Kashmiri Women’s Cricket Team, symbolizing a meaningful step toward breaking barriers of distance and language. Such interactions and cultural exchanges play a powerful role in integrating people from different states, strengthening the unity of our Nation, Bharat.

Our Lion members — President Ln. Rameshwar Maniyar, Secretary Ln. Sanjana Jhamvar, Veteran Lion Shreeram Bhalerao, and enthusiastic new members Ln. Rajani and Ln. Asha Maniyar — showed excellent participation and spirit throughout the day.

3. About Aseem Foundation:
   Aseem Foundation was established with the vision of creating harmony by working in the areas of Education, Entrepreneurship, and Development. Actively working in the Kashmir region since 2002 and registered in 2010, the foundation has become a significant bridge between Kashmir and the rest of India.
4. Productive Discussion:
   An insightful discussion was held between Ms. Saee Barvefrom Aseem Foundation and our Lion members — Ln. Sanjana, Ln. Rajani, and Ln. Asha Maniyar— to explore potential collaborations and plan future activities in Kashmir. The session was filled with enthusiasm and visionary ideas.
5. Interaction with Kashmir Team:
   Ln. Shriramji Bhaleraoand Ln. Shaileshji Bursehad an inspiring interaction with the visiting team from Kashmir, sharing valuable insights and connecting on several community initiatives.
6. Cricket Discussion:
   A spirited conversation on cricket was led by Ln. Shailesh Burse, who shared his personal experiences, sparking ideas for cricket-based events in Kashmir. This interaction added a dynamic and engaging layer to the session.
