Activity details

The Lions Club members embarked on a spiritual and bonding journey to Pandharpur on January 4th and 5th. The group of 17 members was travelled from different Pune locations, starting from Bhavdhan.

Highlights of the Outing

1. Antakshari and Singing: The group enjoyed a fun-filled session of Antakshari and singing while traveling to Pandharpur.
2. Tulsi Archana Pooja and Darshan: Themembers participated in a sacred Tulsi Archana Pooja at the Pandharpur Temple, followed by a divine darshan.
3. Stay at Bhakt Niwas:The group stayed at the Bhakt Niwas on January 4th, providing a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere.
4. Morning Pooja at Lakhamanbaug Temple:On January 5th, the members attended a morning pooja at the Lakhamanbaug Temple, starting the day on a spiritual note.
5. Hurda Party at Chinchani Village:The group enjoyed a traditional Hurda Party at the Chinchani Village Agriculture Center, which is run by the village people.
6. 7th BOD Meeting:The 7th Board of Directors meeting was held in the serene natural ambience of Chinchani Village’s open garden at 11:11 am.

7. General Body Meeting:The General Body meeting was held after lunch in the open garden, where discussions were held on the possibility of a permanent solar project for Chinchani Agro-tourism.
8. Housie Fun Game:The group enjoyed a fun-filled session of Housie after the BOD meeting.
9. Shri Vittal Idol Presentation:As a memorable momento, each Lion member was presented with a Shri Vittal idol, symbolizing the spiritual connection and bonding experienced during the outing.

The group extends heartfelt gratitude to Shri Nileshji Marda and Anjali Mardaji for their outstanding support in arranging the Hurda Party and darshan arrangements.

This outing served as a wonderful opportunity for Lions Club members to bond, connect with their spiritual selves, and create lasting memories.
